The Deadliest American Sin
42I Voted. Did You?
I have just come from another Hub and as Rachel Maddow says: Talk Me Down! After reading a Hub that I did not necessarily agree with, I began to scroll through the comments to see if someone had explained to this writer the many, many factual mistakes she had made. In most cases, her comments were bringing clarity to her points, so she could be informed.
As I scroll through, I run across another poster who states that it is better to not vote if both candidates are evil. What? Oh my. This here is why we need to ensure a better education system. Do we really believe as a Nation that there are only two parties?
When I received my sample ballot from the county, I was shocked! I knew there were at least three other parties than the Republicans and Democrats. But 13? Wow! How could someone not find a person to get behind? You can even write your own name in!
Not voting is the deadliest American sin. By not voting the only statement you make, is that you do not care. By choosing someone else other than the two main parties, says that you are happy to vote, but not for the top guys.
Voting is so important!
